Google may launch its own mobile phone carrier service at any time

It has been rumored for more than a year ago that Google has been working on a wireless service for smartphones, but now the company will launch the service in the US as soon as Wednesday, according to a new report.

Google Talk and offer data plans for customers as part of a movement that put in competition with wireless, like AT & T and Verizon local suppliers, the Wall Street Journal.

The effort would be a departure from Google core business, and indicates a greater emphasis on mobile.

The report said that users will be able to pay for the amount of data actually used (ie, phone calls, application usage, etc.). Furthermore, wireless service providers often offer higher monthly fee data. However, users only Nexus 6 smartphones have immediate access to wireless services, which would give Google a very small sample of clients for testing, according to the report.

Google, which aims to differentiate itself in the mobile market, will have two services: one to make calls and use data via Wi-Fi, and more expensive to use cellular radio version data signals.

Although Google declined to comment on Wednesday, the senior vice president Sundar Pichai confirmed in March that the company is working on a wireless service on a "small scale". It is believed that Google is building a wireless network, it will become a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO); This means that you can buy "wholesale" Sprint and T-Mobile networks, and then sell mobile plans for their clients.

Pichai said that Google will treat the experience as an experience, similar to the way the first addressed Nexus phone. After the program was successful, the company decided to invest more time and resources on the growth of the brand.
